Here we go again.. -No good, naughty, very bad brain “sensation”..?? « on: March 18, 2021, 12:31:49 am »

First.. Dont read if you […] separate your situation from others..
Some will remember the event(s) that led to my loss of half my face muscles.. Simply put, an increase in brain sensations, zaps, “acrobatics”, shrinks, flips, very short “power outages, etc.. -Then a larger than usual myoclonic jerk (a specific type of seizure).. =Indirect causation of above nerve damage^^.. Indirect because it seemed to stem more from that I bit my tongue very hard and my nerves didnt handle it or recover from where the effects spread.. Though the final palsy ended up on the opposite side..
Whatevs, and anyways.. Yesterday, again as I woke, I had a return of a sx I havnt had since 0.25V and the above sensations nearly 3yrs ago..
I describe it as a “Brain Yawn” and wonder if others relate.. This one was much stronger than previous ones, and like the myoclonic event, I havnt been right in the head since (yesterday -20hrs).. Perhaps more in a physical way like concussion and blunt force trauma..
So to try and describe..
Like a yawn, a flood washing over, a stretching, a kinda physical noise or the roaring of a cyclone.. The mild ones even have the pleasant aspect of a good yawn.. Usually a few seconds, but this one dragged on 7 or 8 sec.. Also a bit of brain shrink at the end, -a pulling deep on the inside of my ears..
Eyesight, esp. reading and texting is now extra difficult and my head/face is buzzing, dizzy and “swimming”.. Sound, light and stress sensitivity is increased..
As usual, hard to describe, but if anyone relates perhaps we can refine it a bit..
The “Go see a Dr” option is broken, lets not go there.. At this point Im just hoping for some relativity or whateva anyone here has to offer..
Thanks..

I can’t relate […] but I can offer my sympathy for your condition and marvel at how you’re able to function as well as reach out to others to offer hope and guidance, you’re amazing.
I was trying to understand your episode and got as far as the yawn which I find pleasant but where it goes from there is out of my ability to relate for which I’m grateful but sad you’re dealing with it.
How long does this typically last?

Thanks […].. Nice to hear from you, supportive as ever.. 🙂
-Sorry, am fading fast..
They are pretty short, only seconds, but the after effects linger with the whole big picture wave of head symptoms.. This was about 3-4 months those yrs ago at 0.25V to jump, and again post lyrica and the direct opiate C/O many months later.. I just cut the oxy 10% a couple of weeks ago (to 27.5mg following a year of not so stable holding (a few failed reductions in that year)..
So at the end of my V taper I probs had 15-20 of these few second events over a few months.. My jump went quite well, most of post acute was done at 0.25v before I jumped.. Bit hard to tell because I had a major unresolvable stress event at 2weeks off V.. That caused anxiety (new -it wasnt a sx prior) for 2yrs.. -Still does a bit if I think on it, but I now have WD anxiety, more physical, as all my SX have increased significantly the last 18 months post the opiate C/O.. Current SX are all very classic late onset benzo type, but obviously there is current tapering/tolerance etc..
Yesterdays event was much stronger, and lasted 2-3 times longer at 7-8 seconds..
I used to mainly do well with day naps (which this was), but they are extra toxic now.. Fatigue still forces them though..
Gosh, this is why I dont usually do ME on here..!! Lol
Thanks for your thought, and considering if you related..
