Food sensitivity causes panic

Hi I posted on here a couple weeks ago, it disappeared. My husband is extremely light and sound sensitive. He was slowly over this year had to eliminate his foods. Started on a clean gluten free diet that went south, then it was bone broth and apples, grapes, then rice with a little meat, then an all veggie diet, that worked for a bit then it was blueberry smoothies with vegan protein powder, then to just one certain thing that we could find at the time that would miracoulsy help. Raw cold carrots seemed to be the safety net in all this. If the burn and the panic got too bad he could always eat a handful and it would calm it. Anything he tries to eat that is different it could go horrible or really good. He’s had endoscopy and bacterial testings… normal except for esophageal erosion from all the acid. He has to sleep propped up takes dexilant and nexium. Every now and then pepto, gavisgon pepcid when it “goes bad”. He also says he can tell when the food isn’t going to work anymore because it will taste horrible. When he has something new and it works he says its taste awesome… also if he gets “backed up” or his crap comes out more solid he says it’s about to get bad like a panic attack. So he will keep taking Miramax and do enemas like crazy… please tell me somebody else has experienced any of this. And give me suggestions please. Thank you

Bone broth, tomato sauce, spices and ANYTHING containing glutamate sends Benzo Buddies members into acute

Bone broth and Glutamate

Anybody have bad experiences with bone broth? Apparently it can contain glutamine, which converts to glutamate. We make our own broth with quality chicken. This last batch was simmered for 2 hours because it doesn’t release as much glutamate when cooked for a short time. I ate some yesterday and was revved up all night and sleep was horrible. Any opinions are appreciated.

I’d like to know if adding spices, tomato sauce, or any other sauces to my cooked food can Rev up my symptoms… I used to eat anything with no trouble. But some times after meals I feel awful. Anyone with advise on this, please.

Benzo Buddies brainwashes its members into believing eating braised beef can drive them insane

Braised beef & tomato

We cooked a braised beef dish for dinner recently that contained tomato paste and roasted salsa. Couldn’t sleep that […] and I think it threw me off. Too much glutamate? Maybe so. Anybody else have issues like this?

Hi […], certain foods wreak havoc on our fragile systems. I hope you are sleeping a bit better now. Oregano does a number on me and it is typically in spaghetti and pizza sauces. I raise it in my garden, but no longer add it to any thing I prepare. Perhaps there was something in the salsa.
Not sure about the glutamate, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Red meat has been a serious issue for me, too. I was diagnosed with Lyme and other parasites.

Interesting article.

kinda scary, these type of things.. I have a pretty bad tick history from several angles… 🙁
The pictures of meat in the adds looked slightly yummy, so I wont stress on it…
I must have heard of this here in Aust at some point, as it rang a dull bell..

Thanks…

Hey Cres, 🙂

Sorry, not very relavant I guess, but I often get dropped from some “reaction” after a “meal”… Size is a factor, from a small burger upwards… Meat is a factor, or say, deep fried…
-Stomache pain, deliberate breathing, sweats/fever, chills, tight numb/chewy burning up neck jaw and face..
I just have to lay down and it passes in a bit… -Sorry, I dont know why I get this…

Is there a pattern, or is this out of the blue..??
